“I came to Probity Financial because of the excellent features that they offer as far as no overdraft fees, no atm fees, and the choice to use bill pay or electronic check. I will stay with Probity financial until the end of time. The customer service is spectacular as well, the people there are always willing to go the extra mile to help a customer out. If I could tell everyone about Probity I would. I can easily access my money on line and never have to worry that I may not have enough money in the account. You have the ability to sent up email notifications or text messages if your account gets under a certain amount.”

"I am so glad that I found Probity Financial Services!
I was looking around at other banks, local and online, after having been with my hometown bank for years and was just not happy anymore. My great hometown bank had been bought by one of the big "America" banks. Things were just never the same after that. All of a sudden I had fees for this and fees for that. They changed my account to match one of their products without my knowledge and then told me because they "thought it would be better for me"....well, it wasn't. I started paying astronomical fees, basically for everything, even though "this was suppose to be better for me". I paid for things that I am still not sure to this day what they were for. Just doing everyday business with my old/new bank changed, I didn't know anyone, like I did before. No one really seemed to care about me. I was just another person calling to bug them about something that they really didn't care about was the feeling I got. And forget trying to talk to one person if you had a problem that didn't have an obvious answer. If you didn't talk to the right department nothing got done or it was done incorrectly and just messed you up more. I finally had enough when my account was hacked and they made me feel like I was the one who had done something wrong.
I think that is why the first line on the Probity website attracted me to it. FAIRNESS, HONESTY AND INTEGRITY......wow, three words I had not thought of when thinking of banks as of late. So I read more on the site and found out that there really is a bank out there that means what they advertise and offers all the services the others claim to for free, but charge you for in the end. While Probity basically said very plainly, "these are the services we offer and this is ALL it will EVER cost you." I really wanted to believe what I was reading so I called them, they took some real time to talk with me. They answered every question I had and then some. They shared with me what direction they wanted the company to grow towards and it just all sounded to good to be true. So I signed up for an account. I waited a few months before releasing my local account, just to be sure they were going to live up to what they had stated. And boy did they ever and more! I will be with them almost a year soon and Probity has been great! They take a personal interest in their customers. They actually care and want to help you be successful managing your money. They have all the services of the big banks and all perks of the hometown banks even though they are online! It's great to be able to call one person at Probity with any problem I may have and know that it will be taken care of, and I mean right now, not next week, now. I am so glad I found Probity and recommend them often!! If you are afraid to try an online bank like I was, don't be. If you think they sound too good to be true, they are not. Just try them, give them a chance and I am SURE you will be very pleased, just like me!!"

“Finding a company like Probity has truly been a blessing, as we are a family of modest means and unfortunately live pay check to pay check these days. Finding a bank that does not charge us ridiculous and downright criminal overdraft fees was a necessity and Probity was the answer to that problem. Thanks so much for offering a bank with no overdraft fees. That is exactly what we needed.”
Sean in Colorado:
“I came to Probity originally because I couldn't handle Wells Fargo taking even one more dime from me. The level of service I have received has been what everybody should expect out of their bank. As far as I am concerned, banks should be here to service the customer, not rob them. Like most everybody else, I have the tendency to spend more than I have from time to time. Probity is very forgiving and understanding of the needs of most Americans. Thanks for having some integrity in a world full of greed.”

“I was looking for alternatives to our current bank, as fees were getting outrageous. Doing a Google search, I came across Probity's website and their concept was very interesting to me. For $19.95, you get a checking account with no transaction fees. Your only ATM fees are the ones charged by other banks. Tired of $35 overdraft fees when your bank manipulates the order in which they pay transactions in order to maximize overdrafts and collect more fees? Probity does not charge any overdraft fees and will pay debits up to your overdraft limit (if eligible). No fees for that either; the overdraft is automatically taken out of your next deposit. Bill payment service is awesome. You can even send money to individuals through their email address..free.
What I find most intriguing about Probity is their customer service. Very personalized, and even their emails are not "canned"..they respond directly to your concerns and questions, and usually within minutes (not hours)during regular business hours. If there is any issue after hours, leave a voicemail and you WILL get a call back. From a friendly, helpful person, who doesn't act like he/she is doing you a huge favor by returning your call. Reminds me a lot of my old small town community bank in Georgia meets modern technology.
If looking for an alternative to the big, impersonal bank with a branch on every corner, Probity may be for you. I would much rather give Probity $20 a month than my previous bank $35 a pop when they manipulate the order of paying debits. They love to spout that "our experience shows customers would rather us pay high to low"...no one ever asked me. I would prefer they pay in the order in which they come in. You cannot for the life of me tell me that customers prefer to get charged $105 rather than $35, especially when you can see online which came in first. And I am really impressed with the customer service at Probity. It is so nice to get personalized responses. Canned answers are probably one of my biggest pet peeves ever (especially when they have little or nothing to do with what your issue is).”
